The
City of Eagle has been coined “rurban” to
characterize the city as a community that
maintains its rural charm while blending the
increasingly growing urban population. Eagle is
one of the Treasure Valley's premier communities
and is located in Ada County approximately 15
minutes driving time from the capitol city of
Boise. Eagle is one of the smaller cities in the
Treasure Valley with a population of about
20,000.
The City of
Eagle has wide open spaces, appealing
architectural design standards and features old
style street lights with tree lined streets
which contribute to much of the charm that draws
many visitors to the city, as well as those who
call Eagle home.
One of the nice
things about Eagle is that it has focused a lot
of efforts on expanding the availability of
parks and other related amenities which serve to
enhance the quality of life for its residents.
Many of the newer subdivisions in Eagle are
required to have parks with pathways connecting
neighborhoods and linking to the Greenbelt. The
Greenbelt is a beautiful meandering paved trail
that follows along the Boise River where you can
enjoy biking, walking, running and skate
boarding.
You can find
good housing prices from the low $100,000 all
the way up to beautiful multi-million dollar
homes. Because of
the current economic times you will be able to
find many great deals on Eagle ID homes for
sale, as well as, Eagle foreclosures and short sales.

information on these types of properties.
The Eagle
business district in has retained much of its
"old world" charm, combined with a growing
number of modern restaurants, small boutiques,
and small businesses with the original stone
buildings of Eagles past. At the heart of
Downtown Eagle is Heritage Park which has become
a central gathering place for visitors and the
residents with its large shady trees, gazebo for
hosting small concerts, and a street level
fountain where you will often see small children
jumping and playing in during the warmer months
of the year.
Eagle is also
home to many large parks like, Arboretum Park,
Friendship Park, and Merrill Park each offering
their own recreational leisure activities. Eagle
Island State Park which is the largest park in
Eagle offers 500 acres of riding trails, a nice
size lake where you can rent paddle boats or
bring your own floatation device.
If you love to golf, then you will enjoy many of
Eagles golf courses like, Eagle Hills Golf
Course Banbury Golf Course (which has been home
to a couple Armature tournaments, Foxtail
Golf Courses and Shadow Valley Golf course.
All in all
Eagle is one of the more desirous communities in
the Treasure valley. So, if you are
